Focus Highlight
Focus Highlight visually emphasizes the perimeter and background of the currently active (focused) window to prevent input errors and provide an intuitive grasp of the active window.
Focus Highlight visually emphasizes the perimeter and background of the currently active (focused) window, helping to prevent input errors and allowing you to intuitively recognize which window is active.
Core Features
- Independent Border and Window Interior Highlighting:
- Border Highlight: Displays a colored border around the active window with a specified thickness (px) and opacity.
- Interior Highlight: Fills the inside of the window (background area) with a light, semi-transparent color.
- You can enable or disable these settings independently.
- Flicker Prevention:
- Even if caret information is temporarily lost during window switching or when dialog pop-ups appear, the system continuously tracks the focused window to prevent the highlight from flickering.
Two Color Modes
You can choose from two color modes to change the highlight colors based on your needs:
1. User-Defined Mode (Linked to IME)
- The colors automatically switch to your pre-configured settings (On/Off colors) based on the state of the IME (On/Off) and CapsLock.
- Example: Orange (attention) when IME is On, and light yellow-green (neutral) when IME is Off.
2. CPU/Memory Linked Mode (System Monitor)
Retrieves system load status at 1-second intervals and dynamically changes the colors in real time.
- Border Color (Linked to CPU Usage):
- The border color changes in a real-time gradient from Green (low load) → Yellow → Orange → Red (high load) depending on the CPU load.
- Window Interior Fill Color (Linked to Memory Usage):
- The density and tone of the fill color change based on physical memory utilization.
Flashing (Fade In/Out) Effect
If you want to make the highlight stand out more, you can enable “Flash Highlight” in the settings. This gently fades the border and window interior highlights in and out.
- You can finely adjust the flashing speed (0–255) using a slider.
- If both the border and interior highlights are enabled, their opacities synchronize to fade in and out together.
